Self-healing cement 

Construction is the most widely used material in construction. Most construction companies In Pakistan use traditional cement to build their houses and buildings. But later on, those walls start to crack due to exposure to water or chemicals, and the building or house starts to lose its value.

Also, cement is also the highest contributor to harmful carbon emissions said, to be responsible for almost 7 percent of annual global emission. Researchers are developing a  self-healing concrete, using a mix containing bacteria within microcapsules, which will aid building evolution by germinating when water enters a crack in the concrete to produce limestone, plugging the crack even before water and oxygen have a chance to corrode the steel reinforcement.

Thermal Bridging

Efficient insulation material is becoming more and more important in the construction industry. Heat transmit through the walls tends to pass through the building. Let it be masonry, block, or stud frame, to the internal fascia such as drywall. This is known as thermal bridging.
